Walkers Time Change
The time has nearly come for the walkers to change their start time to 6:30 AM. After much consultation and many meetings it has been decided (by a narrow margin) that as from Easter Saturday, 22nd March, the walkers will start at 6:30 AM.
TT T-Shirts
The Club would still like to offer T shirts to all who have not bought one yet, at the giveaway price of $20.00. Supplies will be there this Saturday.
Coffee Capers
The next "coffee after the run" will be on Saturday, 29 March.
Computerisation of Records
Lastly we are moving along with the computerization of the clubs records. We are working backwards from this year and although each year has not been finished by those willing volunteers, we are back to 1989. I am calling for some more volunteers to assist in this worthwhile task. Please let me know if you can help by dropping me an email or mentioning it to me or John Snelson on a Saturday.
All that is needed is to enter times for each week of a particular year for all those who ran or walked during that year. The names of everybody who have attended Turramurra Trotters will have been pre entered in the Excel spreadsheet.
Six Foot Track
I believe we did have some runners in the recent six foot track race/run. I am sure Les Bryce will go into a long discourse about it next Saturday if he has sufficiently recovered.
Coffee Capers
The Coffee Club meets after the run/walk on the last Saturday every month - at Adam's Cakes and Chocolates - the coffee shop at the bottom of Rohini Street. Some of Adam's rellies or in-laws are rumoured to be Trotters. Please note that as Adam's will be closed on Australia Day, this has been postponed until the following Saturday, the 2nd February 2008, for one week only.
Trekkers Starting Time.
Currently, the walkers (Trekkers) are meeting and starting at 6-15am. Runners start at 6-30am on the dot.

Computerising the Trotters Records
A major initiative commenced over Christmas 2007, to transfer 34 years of history and data onto the Internet, as shown here on the T-Files. It is hoped to have this completed before the City to Surf 2008, that's in August.

The colour for this latest edition of the famous TT T-shirt, is based on a cobalt blue, that would be in Hexadecimal #0004FF and in RGB 0,4,255. In CMYK this would be 100-97.9-0-25.9. This desirable garment has been crafted and made in Thailand for the Mexican market. Authentic certification is visible on the tag attached to every original article. Be careful to avoid unauthorised duplications.
In any case, the TT T-shirt 2008 is another wonderful collectors' item and sports the original TT logo and 1974 artwork applied here in a post OEM process .. very sexy, and very cheap at $20 ... a bargain, a fashion statement and a piece of history all in one garment, and selling out fast.
Trotters and affiliates are reminded that being a member of our group comes with an expectation that you will proudly wear a Turramurra Trotters T-shirt, which allows you access to all our services, facilities and the Clubhouse.
