Coffee Morning

We go for a "Coffee After The Run” on the last Saturday each month at Adam's Cake & Chocolates Emporium on Rohini Street. This gives us all a chance to have more chat and socialise.

All are welcome .. some TTs bring their families and children along to this little get-together, so that they can meet the people who get their loved ones out of bed so early on a Saturday morning. This normally goes to about 9-00am o'clock or so.

... and now, here's the latest news from the Trotter Blotter .......

  1. Shoalhaven King of the Mountain 2009 - Awards

What a great result - What a great Athlete
    Proudly a Turramurra Trotter !

  2. 6 Foot Track 2009

The TT Team came 13th overall and the results are:

    Alex Matthews 3:24:54 3rd Overall {N.B. this time would have Won last year}
    Mike Morrissey 4:58:27
    Rob Thomson 5:12:30
    Richard Duggan 5:29:16
    Peter Nuttall 5:53:09
    Peter Quinn 6:17:15

  3. Walkers Start Time

The start time for Walkers will move to 6-30am from Saturday 6th March. Details in the Program 2009

  4. Local Weather Situation

If you would like to get a snapshot on the weather expections, perhaps on a Friday night before you go to bed, you can get the latest reports and forecasts at our new Turramurra Trotter Weather Site.

  5. Contribution 2009

Whereas we don't charge fees, it would be nice if participants continue to contribute to the drinks cost each week

Weekly: 20 cents per run (for drinks) ... or ...
    $10.00 p.a. paid into
St George Bank, "Turramurra Trotters" BSB 112-879 a/c 126624724

We are proud and somewhat amazed that the charge for drinks has been maintained at 20 cents for the last 35 years. Consider our record of economic management when you compare the cost of crossing the Harbour Bridge at 20cents 35 years ago.

We also ask that you support the Trotters by investing in our kit ... being a T-shirt and/or a cap

New members: T-Shirt ($20.00), TT caps available $10.00

  6. 2009 Program

The full program for year 2009 is now published ... here ...

  7. Get Connected - Get on the Mailing List

To get on the Mailing list: Send an email to Alan Cole detailing your name, email address and preferred phone number.

  8. All TTs Names

We have now indexed the names of ALL of the Turramurra Trotters from the archives for the years 1974-2007, for each of the years in which each Trotter was a participant. The names appear here in the Master Index of Trotter Times 1974-2007 appear here.

If you are one of the 1685 or so Turramurra Trotters, then your name should be here. If your name seems to have been omitted, please contact Alan Cole.

  9. Additions to the TT Wardrobe

Run faster, last longer, impress your friends .... climb into a new Turramurra Trotters T-shirt and Cap.

They are Trotter friendy, teasing, tactile, temporate, tidy, titillating, trendy and very swanky - just the tops as you trot around the traps in Turramurra.

The colour for this latest edition of the famous livery, is based on a cobalt blue with silver artwork. Cobalt - that would be in Hexadecimal #0004FF and in RGB 0,4,255. This desirable garment has been crafted and made in Thailand for the Mexican market - you can't beat that. Authentic certification is visible on the tag attached to every original article. Be careful to avoid unauthorised duplications.

The TT T-shirt 2008 is another wonderful collectors' item and sports the original TT logo and 1974 artwork applied here in a post OEM process .. very sexy, and very cheap at $20 for the shirt and $10 the cap ... bargains, a fashion statement and a piece of history all in a matching set, and selling out fast.
